The Wild Salmon Defenders Alliance held yet another rally at provincial Minister Mike Farnsworth’s office on April 20/18.

We were honoured to stand with a good number of members of Kwikwetlem First Nation, including Ed ‘Sxep Xeylem’ Hall who gave us a warm welcome to the unceded territory of Kwikwetlem. Sandy Budd of Maple Creek Streamkeepers Society and others were there, as were many members of our Wild Salmon Defenders Alliance. We sang our sacred songs, and shared how important it is to remove all the threats to our wild salmon including removing fish farms from the migration routes of Fraser River wild salmon. We gave our letter to Minister Farnsworth.

Our next rally will be on Monday April 30th at Adrian Dix’s office!
